Chandava Lake Resort in Cavinti Laguna

A humble lake resort lies within Cavinti Laguna. Unlike most of the lake front resorts in the area, the road to Chandava Lake resort is very accessible and fully cemented.

There will be around 500 meter drive from their receiving area to their parking area then a short walk from the parking area to the lakefront. Push carts to help carry your belongings are available upon request.

Scenic views of the lake can be seen as you stroll from the parking lot to the lakefront. The pathways can be a bit muddy during the rainy season but perfect during summer.

Cottages, swings and restrooms are available on the hilltop while floating cottages are also available along the shore for a very affordable rate of 1,000 php for the whole day. Floating cottages are placed very far apart, perfect for social distancing this pandemic.

Senior citizens and small kids should be very careful walking downhill as the slope can be very steep and slippery most especially during the rainy season. The place is incredibly serene, clean and quiet.

The prices are very much affordable for as low as 250php per head for a day tour. Kids 3 years old and below are free of charge. Feel free to bring food and drinks, corkage free. I suggest bringing a portable stove with butane and raw meat slices for a samgyupsal experience by the lake on their floating cottage. Snacks available in their store in their receiving area for those who will not be able to bring food.

You may rent out their kayak for only 200 an hour. You may bring your fishing tools to try to catch some fish. Unfortunately, there’s not much water activities available as of yet. If you are looking for a place with jet skis, banana boats, flying fish rides, karaoke and more, this place may not be for you. It’s one of the reasons that keeps this humble resort serene. Best for persons who are looking for a nice quiet time to take a break from stress from work or just looking for some nice intimate quiet time to spend with family.
