Lotuspod Bed and Breakfast – Puypuy, Bay, Laguna
Overnight stay starts from ₱8,500 for 2 adults on weekdays, with breakfast and access to resort facilities including the pool complex, playground, treehouse, bikes and zipline.
Our most favorite staycation by far is Lotuspod Bed and Breakfast in barangay Puypuy, Bay, Laguna!
Upon arrival, we received a very unique and refreshing welcome drink made from lemongrass and honey. We were then escorted to our casita via golf cart.
We entered our room using a keycode. One of the many things I liked about this place was that there was no need to bring a keycard all throughout our stay! Welcome cookies were also waiting for us in the room.
Unlike most hotels and resorts, the coffee served in the mini-bar during our stay was not an instant 3-in-1 coffee. They provided a French press, ground coffee and green tea. The room was also equipped with a remote-controlled aroma diffuser/humidifier.
The room smells like a spa.
The bed is king size. During our stay, two adults and two kids fit well comfortably.
It had some of the most complete and luxurious toiletries as well. Dental kits, nail file, toothpick, cotton pads, cotton buds, hair cover, scrunchie, body wash, shampoo, hand lotion and hair dryer were all available! I also loved that there was a movable face mirror, which was great when touching up my makeup.
Our casita also had hot and cold options for the shower and an outdoor hot spring dipping pool.
The hand lotion smells like peppermint. The shampoo and body wash smell so good as well. Their hand soap smells like lemongrass and honey. I was curious if they make their own hand soap—it smells similar to their welcome drink!
Even washing your hands and taking a bath is relaxing! This is such a very relaxing place! Wherever you go, it feels like a spa!
There was no television in our casita. You wouldn't need it anyway. There are so many activities you can do here, but for those who need a bit of screen time before sleeping, a tablet was provided in our casita.
Take a relaxing dip in your private hot spring pool or jump with your kids on the trampoline.
Swim in the pool or ride the zipline
Or just stroll around and appreciate Mother Nature.
If you have kids, there's a playground, a treehouse with an activity area inside! There are bikes available for use.

Dinner during our stay was at their Talisay Pavilion Restaurant. It had a very cozy and intimate atmosphere.
The food was great! It was my new favorite restaurant at the time (and is still is). We ordered their Lotuspod house salad, kare-kareng bagnet, pampano in turmeric sauce, carbonara and spaghetti bolognese. We also received a complimentary mini chocolate cake for my birthday!.
Please note that the menu and prices may have changed since our 2022 visit. Check with Lotuspod for the latest menu and current offerings.
Enjoy the cold fresh breeze and beautiful lights at night.
Plated breakfast for two adults and two children below 5 years old is includedwith the casita rate. During our stay, we had plated Filipino and Laguna breakfast. We chose the Filipino breakfast, which came with a choice of tapa, tocino or bangus with sunny-side-up egg, fried rice, side salad, fruits and a choice of coffee or chocolate. We also tried the Laguna breakfast, which consisted of homemade bread, a choice of ham or bacon, white cheese, side salad, fruits and a choice of coffee or chocolate.
Our casita was also equipped with a refrigerator. Unlike many resorts that provide only a couple of small bottles of water (two bottles of one liter), Lotuspod provided generous drinking water during our stay. The refrigerator was also well stocked, which was great when we needed a midnight snack.
Amenities and minibar inclusions may change, so check with Lotuspod if you have specific requirements.
The staff were very kind and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again!
Day Tour and Camping at Lotuspod
Don't have time for an overnight stay? Lotuspod also offers day tours from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The day tour rate is ₱1,000 per person, while children aged 6 to 12 years old are charged ₱350. This is a great option if you want to enjoy the resort's facilities and spend the day surrounded by nature without booking an overnight stay.
For families who want a different kind of experience, you can also book an overnight camping stay at Lotuspod. Bring the family, set up camp and enjoy the resort's relaxing natural surroundings overnight.
I recommend contacting Lotuspod directly for the latest day tour inclusions, camping rates and availability, as these may change.
