Here's how the beginner or trial climb looks like!
If you think one climb is not enough, get a one-hour all-in package for only 500 pesos!
How many climbs can you possibly do within one hour? Maybe around 3-4 climbs according to your stamina. You will need rest to recuperate every after climb.
Here is how the second level climb looks like.
The third level climb on the otherhand has a platform where you can rest up and take more pictures before you finish your climb!
If you're a hard core adrenaline junkie and do not have any planned activity for the rest of the day, take it to another level with the all day all-in pass for 700!
Register - You will be asked to provide personal details and person to contact in case of emergency. Like most sports, you will also be requested to sign a waiver. There are safety measures in place and all climbs will be supervised by an expert but like any activity, there will always be risks outside of anyone's control. It is best to be cautious.
Wear climbing shoes and harness - Provide your shoe size to get a fitting climbing shoe. It should be well-fitted for a comfortable climb. Before and after climbs, your belay assistant will secure your harness. Do not climb without your harness well secured.
Warm up - Stretch out your muscles before you climb! I was guilty of this. I only realized that I haven't warmed up yet when I was already in the middle of a climb. Make sure you do this. You will thank me later.
Water - You will get thirsty, make sure to bring lots of water. A 250ml bottle of water costs 30 pesos.
Socks - Climbing shoes is provided or rented (depending on the package you availed). Make sure to bring and wear socks for sanitary reasons.
Extra shirt - Climbs can get intense and you might sweat a lot. Best to have an extra shirt handy after your climb.
Hair tie - For those who have long hair, best to keep your hair tied while doing a climb.
Hand sanitizer - It is wall climbing. You will have to grab on to places where people also step on. Wash your hands after the climb. A wash area is also available if you don't have one.
Waiting area - For those who have companions or resting for their next climb, there's table and chairs available.
Shoe cabinet - There's a place to leave your footwear and belongings.
Hopefully they can provide lockers with keys in the future to keep valuables. You wouldn't want to bring your wallet and phones with you in your climb nor leave your belongings unattended with strangers.
Clean restroom and wash area - Be able to wash your hands every other climb. No need to step outside for toilet breaks and to change to dry clothes after your climb.
Free coffee and reading materials - Available for everyone including your companion(s) in the waiting area. If you feel generous, pay forward by providing a tip as additional coffee fund to help provide more coffee for the next visitors.
